A handmade gift is always my favorite to receive, especially an origami crane folded by little fingers still learning the finer skill of the perfect fold. These little snowglobes are perfect for gifting for Valentine’s, a nice alternative to candy (although, I’d never turn down a good box of chocolate would you?).
DIY Valentine’s Snowglobes
Glue your trees to the bottom of the jar with a little E6000 followed by your little animal toy and let dry (I drew a little heart on the penguins bellies). Once dry, fill the bottom with glitter however high suits your needs, pop your lid on and tie on ribbons! If you’re using a typical screw on lid you can paint it to coordinate with your color scheme – my jars had corks so I sealed them with bottle wax, if you do the same thing I definitely recommend using actual bottle wax. To give my wax seal an extra touch, I used a compass seal.
