Mini heart snowglobes for Valentine's are a great gift for kids & adults alike - filled with sweet penguins & trees these DIY snowglobes are great for this winter holiday!
A handmade gift is always my favorite to receive, especially an origami crane folded by little fingers still learning the finer skill of the perfect fold. These little snowglobes are perfect for gifting for Valentine’s, a nice alternative to candy (although, I’d never turn down a good box of chocolate would you?).

Materials:
Jars
E6000 glue
Glitter (don’t use a fine glitter or it will make the glass “cloudy”)
Bottle brush trees preferably with flat bases
Little animal toys
Ribbons

Glue your trees to the bottom of the jar with a little E6000 followed by your little animal toy and let dry (I drew a little heart on the penguins bellies). Once dry, fill the bottom with glitter however high suits your needs, pop your lid on and tie on ribbons! If you’re using a typical screw on lid you can paint it to coordinate with your color scheme – my jars had corks so I sealed them with bottle wax, if you do the same thing I definitely recommend using actual bottle wax. To give my wax seal an extra touch, I used a compass seal.

Now your sweet snowglobes are ready for gifting and maybe squirrel one away for yourself!

Awww, these are so cute! They seem easy enough, but look store-bought. I need to try making my own snowglobe. Especially since we don’t get snow in Florida!

These little snow globes are adorable. Where did you find the little heart shaped bottles that you used?

Hi Cindy! Thank you! I ordered them from Meyer Imports online. I don’t think I mentioned this, but if you use jars with narrow openings tweezers help immensely!
