Last night we had our counter template done, so we’re one step closer to having a functioning kitchen again, but it’s still a little ways away! I had thought about waiting until the work was done to start decorating for fall however, my heart got the better of me and I started pulling out my fall decor! As I put things in their places, I started noticing that the poppy centerpiece, was sticking out like a sore thumb, so I rummaged through my flower stash and decided to give these peach cabbage roses a try. I was pleasantly surprised that they worked amid the antlers and when I threw in the white painted pumpkins, they looked like they were meant to be.
To make this centerpiece, is was very easy just like most of my coffee table centerpieces. To make, I used an oversized hob nail mixing bowl, a pair of antlers hung on the side of the bowl and several peach colored cabbage roses (I think these are the same flowers, but I’m not sure – the flower style is definitely the same, but the color may be different) resting over the edge of the bowl. I tucked the white pumpkins beside the bowl and even though they’re not “part” of the centerpiece, being right next to the bowl helps pull everything together.
I love how simple and elegant this centerpiece is, it literally took me 10 minutes to put together.
Are you getting ready for fall, or is it too early just yet?
