Get ready to party with these DIY honeycomb pineapple garland crafts! A fun craft for mom and kids to enjoy together and decorate for a tropical party!

While I was at the dollar store over the weekend checking in on the swizzle sticks, I found these awesome straws…OK the straws themselves aren’t so awesome, but the pineapples are. These adorable little honeycomb pineapples made me nutty with excitement and I grabbed the 3 that they had left (they came in packs of 12). Instantly I knew they would make a great garland though, Little Man had another idea which I will share soon!

Honeycomb Pineapple Garland

Get ready to party with these DIY honeycomb pineapple garland crafts! A fun craft for mom and kids to enjoy together and decorate for a tropical party!

Materials:
These straws are pretty similar to the ones at the dollar store and the price isn’t bad, but they’re not all pineapple
Thin ribbon or baker’s twine
Scissors
Leather needle
Party excitement
Double sided tape

Tear the pineapples off of the straws (you can save the straws and use them later). Open up the pineapples and tape the cardboard sides together. Tie one end of the twine into a loop. Using the twine and needle, string the tops of the pineapples onto your string. You can fill the twine completely with pineapples, spread them out or put other fruits etc in between! When you’re finished stringing pineapples tie the open end into a loop.

Now, get excited because it’s time to party! Whether or not you actually have a party, you can totally hang these up and it will feel like a party! :D
