Two clean tin cans
Scrapbook paper
String (I used and tie from an old hoodie)
Double sided tape
Scissors
Drill

Trim your paper to fit the circumference and height of the cans. Drill a hole in the bottom of the cans and clean up the metal dust.

Put double sided tape around the top and bottom of the can and wrap the scrapbook paper around the can carefully.

Now get ready to have some old fashioned fun with your littles!

Now that Little Man finally has his little communication device I’ve had to explain to him screaming won’t help me hear him better – keeping the string taught and his voice deep is better…it’s hilarious watching him get the hang of it. Did you ever make walkie talkie cans as a kid?

Always supervise children when the play with things that have strings.
